You gotta believe because God’s will is always executed!

Sometimes I sit back and marvel at the flawlessness of God’s plan! How well executed it is, although at times we struggle to understand it when the rain and trials of life come to plague us. But, I have come to understand His will is different than mine, and His will is always executed. I think back to the times in my life when I should have died. The answer always comes back the same. I have a lot of work I have to do for the Lord, and until I finish what He gave me to do I will sustain and I will trust Him.

I often think back to the story Joseph in Genesis, beginning with chapter 37, when Joseph’s brothers wanted to kill him. Their plan was for him to die, but one spoke against it and instead they threw him in a pit. And as his brothers ate that day, they decided to sell Joseph to strangers and tell their father he was attacked and killed by an animal.

See prior to this, Joseph shared some dreams with his brothers that had them bowing before him. They disliked his dreams and hatred settled in.

Sometimes what God shares with us individually is for us individually. If we tell the wrong people about our dreams or passions, they may not be receptive to it and may try to sabotage it. But we serve a mighty God!!

Eventually, Joseph rose to power in Egypt and he was “the man”! He still received dreams from God and revealed that after seven years of plenty, it was going to be followed by seven years of famine. So basically Egypt was ready for the famine when it arose.

Now Joseph’s family was suffering as they had no knowledge of the famine. Like everyone else, Joseph had to journey to Egypt, were it was known by all that they had plenty.

Joseph’s brothers had no idea that Joseph was the individual in charge there. They just wanted to plead their case to buy food from the person in charge. So as they approached him, they bowed before him to ask to purchase food. So, the dream Joseph had come to fruition.

What the brothers meant for bad, God turned to good. And even more so, God put Joseph in a position to help his family. This is why I don’t question God! I just trust him! Oh but God….!
